The rotating bezel is framed by solid stainless steel and the case is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. When it comes to the movement, we have special requirements, so the Gigandet SEA GROUND 300 Basic uses a movement from the Japanese manufacturer Seiko with a particularly high power reserve of up to 42 hours.
Furthermore, this watch has a date display with quick-switch and magnifying glass. Thanks to the fluorescent indices and hands, the time is easily visible even in the dark. The double anti-reflective sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating also ensures good readability.
A screw-down crown as well as a screw-down case back ensure water resistance of up to 30bar / 300m. This automatic watch for men is not only characterized by the noble design, but also convinces with quality.

A coincidence? the story
For more than 30 years, everything for the founders Christian Schmitt and Hans Meeder has revolved around their passion WATCH. As chance would have it, Hans Meeder got his hands on a gift from his uncle from 1976, complete with the original invoice, at just the right time: it was a beautiful Gigandet sports watch with the design typical of the 1970s. The discovery did not let Hans Meeder go. Subsequent research revealed that Gigandet watches had disappeared from the market. Her intuition for brands and her passion for timepieces, together with her experience in technology and sales, led her to the decision to revive the Gigandet brand. Her mission: to develop quality watches with character away from the masses - authentic lifestyle included.
