- Quality Made in Germany: the watches in the OCEAN KING collection bear the Made in Germany seal of quality and are manufactured by our watchmakers at our headquarters in Würzburg. Only after an extensive quality control including water resistance test and rate test the watches leave our house.
- Automatic movement, caliber Seiko NH35: the robust quality movement NH35 from Seiko Instruments performs reliably in our diving watch. Despite its standard high accuracy, each individual movement is finely regulated by our watchmakers. The movement has an automatic winding in both directions, a power reserve of more than 41 hours, a second stop and 24 jewels.
- Double anti-reflective sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating: a sapphire crystal, unlike a plastic or mineral crystal, can withstand extreme stress. With a hardness level of 9, just like the natural gemstone sapphire, only diamond can boast an even higher hardness level. Therefore, the sapphire crystal is ideal to protect the watch glass from unsightly scratches. To achieve high readability, the sapphire crystal has been double anti-reflective coated with a blue anti-reflective coating.
- Swiss Super-LumiNova: the indexes and hands of the OCEAN KING are equipped with SWISS SUPER-LUMINOVA luminous material in the "BGW9" version from the Swiss company RC TRITECT AG. The highest quality luminous material on the market guarantees a high luminous intensity for many hours.

Sehr wertige tolle Uhr
Die Uhr macht einen tollen Eindruck. Sie ist deutlich schwerer als andere die ich bisher habe. Ganz schön ist das entspiegelte Glas und die Datumslupe die gut ablesbar ist. Das Armband erscheint etwas kürzer als bei anderen, hier brauchte ich nur ein Glied rauszunehmen, (sonst 2-3). Die Leuchtmasse funktioniert auch gut. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich gern entscheiden, ob ich eine Box kaufen möchte oder nicht. Ein anderer Verschluss am Armband wäre schön.

Gigandet Ocean King
Ich habe am 28.8.2021 meine Ocean King erhalten.Real sieht diese Uhr noch viel besser aus, als im Internet.Sie hat eine tolle Haptik und liegt sehr gut am Arm.Mit dem blauen Ziffernblatt und den polierten Flächen strahlt sie ein gewissel Feuer aus, das ich von meinen anderen Uhren so nicht kenne.Die Ocean King hat z.Zeit einen Vorlauf von 6 sec/d.Das ist völlig in Ordnung,anfänglich lag der Vorgang bei ca.10/sec/d. Ich habe für die Zukunft nur zwei Wünsche: 1.) Verschraubte Uhrbänder und 2.) ETA 2824/2 oder Sellita SW 200 Werke zu verbauen.Dann order ich sofort die nächste Uhr.Aber Daumen hoch für die schon bekommene Leistung von GIGANDET.

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich meine neuen Uhren bekommen. Absolut begeistert, ich habe schon einige Taucher aber meine beiden Schätzchen von euch, sind der absolute Preis, leistungs Hammer! Werigkeit, Verarbeitung, Details, Ganggenauigkeit und nicht zuletzt aussehen und haptik, ein Traum, Made in Germany. Ich bin absolut begeistert. Weiter so! Euer Stephan

Schöne Uhr
Wunderschöne Uhr. Sehr solide verarbeitet. Gewicht merkt man beim tragen. Qualitativ würde ich sagen, ein minimaler hauch, unter meiner Steinhart. Im 500€ Segment empfehlenswert. Herausragend zu erwähnen ist das verbaute Saphirglas. Nächste Kollektion mit verschraubten Armband und einem hochwertigem ETA-Werk würde ich begrüßen.

For more than 30 years, everything for the founders Christian Schmitt and Hans Meeder has revolved around their passion WATCH. As chance would have it, Hans Meeder got his hands on a gift from his uncle from 1976, complete with the original invoice, at just the right time: it was a beautiful Gigandet sports watch with the design typical of the 1970s.
